Space camera systems and equipment

The Scanway Camera System (SCS) is a series of vision systems designed for space applications, comprising cameras and various sensors capable of data acquisition and processing. These systems are utilized for a range of space operations, including the self-diagnosis of spacecraft modules, monitoring of objects approaching spacecraft, observation of in-orbit processes, and controlling production and service activities in space. Additional applications extend to space situational awareness (SSA) and support for scientific and research missions. The SCS is available in different configurations: from simple standalone space cameras to advanced image processing system. Key features of the SCS include functional modules for diverse applications, thermographic sensors for detecting overheating components, boom-mounted cameras for inspecting external spacecraft structures, and radiation detection modules.

The uniqueness and high utility of this system shows up when developers of satellites or other spacecraft, or scientists conducting an experiment, want to know how their vehicle performs during a mission, while in harsh space conditions. This system supports the development of space systems tremendously, providing invaluable information on the operation of individual subsystems. In addition, it can be an invaluable support for all sorts of spacecraft / ship-to-ship processes. The company’s expertise in this area is unique in Poland and throughout Europe; the number of entities able to combine design for space and any other business is very limited. In addition, the company’s offerings are distinguished by a “product-as-a-service” approach in which the company takes comprehensive care of the instrument delivery process: from requirements sourcing to support during camera operation.
