The solar cell cover glass offers a number of technical advantages when used for space-supported or terrestrial applications such as photovoltaic systems and optical solar reflectors. The permeability across the entire spectrum from UV-A to near-infrared is excellent, while short-wave UV radiation is effectively blocked.
