Smallest laser communication transmitter in the world

A compact, lightweight, long-lasting and cost-effective multispectral imager that applies imaging principles and components to build cost-effective optical, space-based scanners in the VIS/NIR and SWIR wavelength ranges.

The technology consists of an ultra-light optical terminal, which is currently the smallest device of its kind in the world.
The device enables very fast data transmission (up to 100 megabits per second) from LEO satellites (Low Earth Orbit) to Earth.
It is particularly suitable for use in small satellites: the low mass of approx. 350 g and the small volume of 0.3 U (9 x 9.5 x 3.5 cm3) in combination with a power consumption of 8 W make it an excellent technology for these applications.
