In the frame of the development of advanced lu- brication techniques for space applications DI- CRONITE® has been produced as a universally ap- plicable dry lubricant adherent to the surface. With this method friction can be reduced to a so far un- rivalled minimum. Dry lubrication can prevent wear, reduce energy conversion into heat and en- able lubrication without contamination.
