ELOIS (Enhanced Light Offner Image Sensor)

The ELOIS sensor is designed to be used as a hyperspectral imager in the wavelength between 350 and 900 nm. The 15.5 pm square pixel can be binned in the „spectral direction” to 60×15 pm, thereby offering linear and non-linear binning modes, which have an experimental resilience against pixel proton damage and pixel SEU (Single-event Upset). The sensor can be operated in a variety of shutter modes whereby RWI (Read While Operate) is the nominal operating mode. Applications include but are not limited to surveillance, automotive, medical imaging, forensics, remote sensing, crops/farming monitoring, machine vision, art- and heritage analysis.
